​ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

We are searching for outstanding Kosovar individuals to lead and teach students from challenging socioeconomic backgrounds to achieve significant academic and personal growth. If you are a working professional, a public school teacher with less than 3 years’ experience, or a graduating university student with strong leadership skills, passion for making an impact on the lives of children, and interest in becoming a lifelong leader in Kosova, Apply Now!

To be eligible, applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Kosovar citizens aged 35 and under
  • Possess a bachelor’s degree in any major by September 2022
  • Flexibility and willingness to work in any school where we will place Fellows

While teachers can apply, teaching experience is NOT required to be eligible for the Fellowship program. All academic and professional backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

INDICATORS FOR YOUR SUCCESS AS A FELLOW

Leadership:
Demonstrate the willingness and capacity to lead, inspire and motivate others, and execute complex tasks and plans effectively.

Achievement:
Exhibit the ability to set high expectations for yourself and constantly work towards achieving them. Fellows can demonstrate strong achievement across different contexts (academically, professionally, extracurricularly, etc.)

Critical Thinking:
As a fellow, you will be faced with challenges that will require problem-solving. You can draw upon available resources, logic, and innovative thinking to tackle challenges and solve-real world problems.

Organizational Skills:
Able to manage your time, plan, and supervise multiple tasks effectively.

Interpersonal Skills:
You are able to communicate clearly and maintain a professional presence. You consider the perspectives and interests of others to respond effectively.

Perseverance:
You understand that challenges are learning experiences and opportunities to develop on a professional and personal level. You have a never give up attitude and have the ability and willingness to tackle problems.

Selection Process

Teach For Kosova's selection process is designed to help us identify candidates who will succeed in the program.

Online Application

This is your first opportunity to tell us about yourself. In the online application, you will be asked to provide contact details and information regarding your academic and extracurricular achievements, your employment history, and responses to a series of questions.

Assessment Center

The Teach For Kosova Assessment Center is an all-day process and is comprised of three stages, including but not limited to: sample lesson plan, group exercises, and a personal interview.

Note: For applicants outside of Kosova interviews will be conducted virtually.
