With a career focused mainly on improving the quality of education, Valmira has worked as an assistant, field associate, coordinator and manager in organizations such as Autostrada Biennale, KEC, Nevo Koncepti.
As a civil society activist, she monitors the Municipality of Prizren regarding the education sector, improving education policies, human rights with a special emphasis on the rights of marginalized groups in society. Valmira has also attended the Political School organized by PIPS, and is a #Fellow of the First Cohort of the Teach For Kosova program.
Her passion for the rule of law, reducing inequalities in society and supporting young people for their rights has led Valmira to work with the motto "Let's educate and re-educate ourselves constantly because change starts with us."
At Teach For Kosova, her role will be to manage projects and facilitate the process of placing Fellows in schools between Teach For Kosova and municipalities.
