My name is Gentiana. I am 27 years old and come from Prishtina.
In 2015 I completed my bachelor studies at the University of Prishtina "Hasan Prishtina", Faculty of Philosophy, with a focus on Ethnology and Cultural Anthropology. During this timeI was also a scholarship holder. In the same year I continued my master’s studies at the University of Prizren "Ukshin Hoti", at the Faculty of Economics, with a focus on Cultural Heritage and Tourism Management.
During my bachelor studies I was an intern at one of the primary schools in Prishtina, where I noticed students' thirst for knowledge with regard to our country's culture. In 2016 I worked in the Ministry of Diaspora as an official / registrar for the drafting and updating of the Diaspora and Diaspora register. This experience has had an impact on highlighting the educational difference between students and families living in western countries compared to those in Kosovo. I have noticed a more open and objective approach to the environment that surrounds them, the different social situations they face, best practices we can apply in Kosovo as well. Undoubtedly the education system of the respective states where they live had a major impact in this regard. In 2017 I worked at the Archaeological Institute of Kosovo as a researcher in archaeological excavations. The example which is required as evidence of human development in our state can freely be said to exist in our rich past which shows a developed civilization.
My goal since the time of studies has been to contribute to the change of the education system in our country because a better and more genuine education leads to a more progressive society.
