Anita Plakolli was born in Prishtina in 1983. She finished her Bachelor's degree in Sociology at the University of Prishtina and was a pianist for 9 years. She has been actively involved in Civil Society in Kosovo for 10 years as a project manager, opertaions manager, administrator, grant writer, as well as acted as an intermediary between local and international organizations. Anita has worked for The Ideas Partnership, People in Need, USAID/Checchi & Company Consulting. She has also worked as a volunteer and researcher for the Institute for Social Policy and for different orphanages with a focus on Child Protection. Anita has a particular interest in inclusive education, the inclusion of minority & marginalized populations, social change research, and the rule of law.
